I have Lenovo Legion Y520 about 6 weeks now and about a week ago the spacebar started squeaking quite loudly (and high pitched) when I press in the left corner (where the backlight icon is) where I press it most of the time. It is very annoying sound actually. Any idea how to fix this?
I searched the internet but they usually suggest removing the key and cleaning it and adding a bit of lubricant. However, I don't want to break they key so if this is indeed what you suggest then it would be great if someone could upload a video how to do it on the Y520 specifically.

No. The link to the service videos did not help. I spent 20 minutes searching and couldnt' find anything about keyboards. When you click on the take course button, it gives you a 404 error. Can you please post a direct link?

hello guys .. every Legion laptop have this problem actually .. it's just some friction between the metal lever and the plastic of the buttons, you may experience it more with the Shift and Space buttons because they are taller than the other buttons and have more friction area you can remove the squeaking button easily but gently, and just reassemble it again without doing anything else and the squeaking sound will vanish you can remove the button by lifting it up gently until it's detached
chech the videos in the *.zip folder below

Really thanks mate. This will not void warranty right?
Would you be willing to make a video taking the key out and putting it back again? Because i don't understand much of how to do it
