LENOVO, please give us the ability to turn off this spiral rainbow on start up. I have the Legion 7i and this has been marketed as a computer suitable for the work environment and gaming. I do not know how many meetings you have, but mine are not normally a rave. If I have to restart my computer during a meeting, this is highly distracting. There has to be a solution for this. The laptop is fantastic otherwise, but this is a significant problem. FIX THIS!

Dear Lenovo,

Just bought this Legion 7 laptop (>3500 USD) and are going to use it for work. I'm not 12 years old - please give me the option to disable this spiral demo color wheel function. I wouldn't even allow my kids to have such function enabled on their keyboard.

Best regards,

Rune

Please Lenovo give us the ability to change set the lighting affects at boot or remember the last setting used. Spiral rainbow is the worst possible preset. This is not a store demo and should be allowed to be set to user preference!

Everyone I have posted a tweet to lenovo support for more visibility on this issue. Please if you could reply, retweet, or make your on tweet on twitter so we can try and get this addressed! @LenovoLegion @Lenovo @LenovoSupport Hello, is there any way a firmware update could be issued to allow users to set lighting affects at boot on legion laptops? The community have been asking for this a while with ,no response from Lenovo 😥.

Hello everyone,

I received an update from @LenovoSupport on twitter. They did not have any updates on the "feature" of being able to change default lighting of spiral rainbow during boot or windows lock screen :(

They suggested to submit on the official Lenovo feedback form and it would be routed to there development team. Everyone that would like the ability to change default lighting via BIOS or remember the last setting used PLEASE submit feedback, the more visibility this has the more likely we can get this "feature" to set the lighting.

Guys, I managed to stop the crazy rainbow. I'm using lenovo vantage app (also useful to keep system up to date), and noticed that if you scroll down on it's main page there is the option to disable the lighting (or choose another one) and it is actually persisted after reboot.

That setting is nowhere to be found in the Vantage I have available on my Legion 7 as far as I can tell, where did you find it?

And, most importantly, does it also persist during boot.

Tried reaching out to support again as well, from Dutch Lenovo I'm just getting a dumbass reply that they can't help me. It's a good laptop in general but I don't think my next one will be a Lenovo.
