Touchpad driver for Legion Y540

2019-09-13, 9:04 AM

Hi,

I Have installed the latest build of win 10 and the touchpad is not working and I can't see it under the device manager either.

I can't find it in Lenovo's drivers and software as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

I do think it's just windows being windows, if you suspect it's a hardware thing, try installing a linux distro and check if the touchpad works there, if it does then it's just windows and you might have to reinstall it or do some google searches.

How do I get them when the device manager is not even recognizing an existing driver (Synaptics, elan)?

There is no such thing as Firmware in the Device Manager. Or you mean somewhere else?
