I have a Legion y530, and was thinking about upgrading the ram, which of these is the best for my machine (and why):
* Crucial DDR4 2400MHz 16GB SODIMM
* Crucial DDR4 2666 MHz 16GB ECC
* Kingston HyperX Impact 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 SDRAM SO-DIMM 260-pin (2 pack)
Thanks in advance!

You can share the machine number /MTM (ex. 81FV0003JE) from the sticker or to get it from here so we can check the details of the machine.
With the MTM, we can check what is the OEM recommended specification and if you are to check for thrid party parts perhaps to choose the closest to your current machine specifications.
Update us soon as convenient.

I wouldn't recommend ECC RAM, as it's not usually supported by consumer processors:
I would go with the 2666mHz sticks as the extra speed is always welcome.
As for size, unless you're running VMs, there's no real need to go above 16GB. I've only upgraded my work PC to 32GB to run some 12GB VMs. For gaming, you'll rarely go over 12GB.
Hope this helps!

I was looking to upgrade RAM also.
Can I upgrade RAM by myself while retaining warranty status, or I must take it to a service?
On forums I have red that i should be able to change RAM by myself, but when I contacted service they said I must take laptop to them in order to retain warranty. I'm a bit suspicious, becouse on lenovo sites manuals are available.
I have experience with laptops, not with Y530 in particular, but I have found manual on how to open laptop and change RAM.
