Warrenty and changing M.2 ssd from 128 to 512G

Will it void my warrenty if I changed my M.2 on my own?

If it does, can I send it to Lenovo to have it done?

Update: Lenovo Y700 I7 Nvidia Graphic with 128g M.2 and 1T Hard Drive.

Re: Warrenty and changing M.2 ssd from 128 to 512G

I don't know what kind of machine you have, where the M.2 card is mounted or how you open the machine, but, in general, disks (or SSDs) can be changed without affecting the warranty.  Obviously, if you break something taking it apart or installing parts, damage you cause is not covered.
