Hello, I recently bought a Lenovo Legion Y530 and it arrived here yesterday. So I turned it on to do all windows setup stuff, but the laptop doesn't turned on the screen, it keeps all black without any luminecence. Althought I plugged it on a external display and it worked, for a while. I tried to update the drivers, directly from Lenovo website, then the external display lost the image too. So I'm here to ask, if I open the laptop and try to reconnect some cables and memories, would I lost my warranty?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can try shutting down the machine first and use the novo button (item 2 page 6) to power on. Check if there would be any display showing Novo menu with BIOS set up. Press on FN + F6 to ensure brightness is increased. Get a pen light and check if there are dim images.
If the same issue better to call in technical support instead of reconnecting wires to ensure that you keep the warranty. Do it as soon as possible in cases there are immediate returns needed.
I hope this helps answer your query.
Update us soon as convenient.

Try to raise the brightness with the Hotkeys .
I had the same "problem" until i figured out that is not one , the fact is when you computer ran out from battery and switch to sleepy mode ,the settings of brightness when the laptop is on sector are reverse .
