Y530 Gaming Lag

2019-02-17, 8:58 AM

Hello i have a Y530-1060.

When i want to play a game it lags and freezes very badly.

For example while playing FIFA 19 in high settings the game lags or freezes every 4 - 5 seconds.

Is it a general problem?

The only thing you can do is check FPS and how the task manager is reacting to the game.

Something is not right. Have you checked temperatures? Because 1060 is more than capable for 60fps stable on fifa 19 for sure.

Yes you should because on battery by default there are limitations on perfomance.

Because battery<AC. Battery voltage is less. I think you can uncheck limitations on gpu in geforce experience app(FPS limit or something) but still I think it wouldn't perform as good as on AC. In just few words: if you want best perfomance use AC, battery is not enough for best gaming experience.
