Below you will find a quote from platform specification:

Up to 2 drives (one HDD and one M.2 SSD):

  • HDD / SATA 6.0Gb/s, 2.5" wide, 7mm high.
  • M.2 2242 SSD / PCIe NVMe, PCIe 3.0 x 2, 16Gb/s.
  • M.2 2280 SSD / PCIe NVMe, PCIe 3.0 x 4, 32Gb/s.
  • Intel Optane Memory H10 with Solid State Storage, M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe 3.0 x 4.

You have bought M.2 2280 SATA SSD, which is not supported in M.2 port. If you bought 2.5" SATA SSD, then it would probably work fine. I would suggest to return this SSD and order PCIe/NVMe version.
