As topic suggests, I have a new y700ISK NV80 machine that doesn't seem to detect external HDMI monitor. Monitor itself works fine when attached to my desktop's GTX970 with the same cable.
Nvidia's display driver is up to date, and I updated the Intel one to one I found on this site. OS is windows 10, freshly installed as laptop is new.
Oddly enough display itself does detect that HDMI cable is connected when I plug the cable into the laptop, and detects that there's no signal if I take it out. There's just no wake up signal and laptop itself doesn't show that another display is connected in device manager or display settings.
