Y700-15ISK - Please help me, hardware problem

Hey everybody,

 

I hope somebody can help me here because i am really frustrated right now.

I bought my self a lenovo y700 151sk and untill now it gives me nothing but trouble.

I even found out today that the serialnumber on the laptop does not even match the one on the receipt en box. (was a showmodel so that the box was open when i bought it was not strange)

it is a long story, but i wil put here what i emailed to Lefdal (the store where a bought it) yesterday and there answer.

I just can not handle that yet again i have my brand new laptop gone for four weeks. i did not pay that much money to have it in a technical workshop.

The hardware scan gives me two codes and i can not find what the codes are standing for, maybe somebody can help me?

these are the codes.

- WVC003002-UL7B2H

- WVC00R002-UL7B2H

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

I’m really sorry for what has happened Lou. I suspect there could be wrong laptop box used for your machine. But still you are in a safe hands since you own receipt & machine as a documented proof.

 

However I would suggest you to kindly visit the nearest stores once to clarify about the serial number confusion.

So here i am again,

 

It is a pitty that nobody could tell me what codes from Lenovo solution center mean even not Lenovo them self?

I went back to the store and they did see there was a problem although also they did not know what it was. 

i got a new, same model laptop.. Me so happy!!

After using it for a while a thought i would run the Lenovo Solution center hardware scan, just in case.

And yes there it was again the scan found a problem with the Intel Hd graphics 530, with the code WVC007002-UL7CWI.

Now i do not yet found any user problems but i would like to know what i am facing.

Please Lenovo can you tell me what this means before i have to go back to the store again???

A service tip has been released concerning the WVC007002 Mathematical Operations Test error message.  This is a false negative and can be ignored; it does not affect the system's functionality or performance.
