Hi,I have a Y700 laptop.I have a problem. My laptop is off and fully charged and it's still plugged on but the charging indicator light won't turn off.Is there any risk of overcharging?

Hi AminTalabeygi ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Battery nowadays are equip with chip technology that would prevent overcharging both on hardware and software sides of the computing technology.
There are times that hibernate mode mimics off power status and at the same time .
On solid white charging (The battery has more than 80% charge ) or discharging ( battery has more than 20%
charge) as a normal behavior for the model (page 29).
As always it would be a good practice not to allow battery to reach 100% and not lower than 5% to maintain battery health for longer battery lifetime (same principle on power manager softwares).
Hope this help answer your query.
