Y700 NVIDIA Driver issues with DirectX games

I've been having issues with my NVIDIA Drivers becoming corrupt on my Y700 with the NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960M. Every few days when I try to play a DirectX games like Guild Wars 2 or Team Fortress 2, the games fail to launch. GW2 doesn't fire up after clicking the Play button in the launcher but there is not warning message. TF2 will give a Direct3D error when I try to launch it. In any case, the only solution I have found is to download and reinstall the NVIDIA drivers. I currently have driver verion 368.22 but this has been happening on older NVIDIA drivers as well. After reinstalling the NVIDIA drivers, everything works fine for a few days.

Re: Y700 NVIDIA Driver issues with DirectX games

I have had this issue with a few of the more recent Intel graphics drivers. I currently have this Intel graphics driver from Lenovo:

At my desk I have a widescreen monitor connected to the HDMI out on my Y700 and a second monitor connected to a Kensington universal DisplayLink USB 3.0 dock. When I connect to the monitor and the dock I disable the laptop screen so it isn't trying to drive 3 screens at the same time. I mostly use my laptop at my desk with the dock and HDMI connected so I haven't been able to test if this is happening only with the dock and/or HDMI connected.
