Y720 BATTERY NOTIFICATION

2017-11-29, 11:18 AM

I was wondering if is there any way to activate any notification (pop-up window) when my laptop's battery reaches low levels? Because that feature will be extremely helpful. (The icon that becomes red when my battery is below 19-18% is not enough).

Thank you in advance for your time

At this time, I am not sure but if you haven't checked then you could try some battery monitoring apps in the windows store.

Thank you for your immdediate response, although it would be better if a to the point reply could be provided, as long is seems to me that this notification is extremely important especially for fullscreen gaming

Sure, I agree my response wasn't that good.

Also, FYI, you should not be gaming on battery for 2 reasons -

1) The performance of the games will not be optimal as battery cannot supply enough power to play intense games.

2) The battery will suffer and its run time will shorten drastically. So, what will happen is even if you run regular programs you may not get good battery life.

Again, this is not an answer to your question but more of an advice. Thanks.

(I will try to find a software if I can)
