Y720 - Incompatible M.2 SSD?

Hello!
Today I got a new M.2 SSD for my Y720, unscrewed my laptop and put in the M.2 SSD. Booted up my PC, but it wasn't showing up and basically after some of googling a I realized that it might not be compatible.
Here is the model - Kingston SSDNow UV500 240GB M.2 SUV500M8/240G

Can someone confirm my suspcions?

Lenovo laptops from 5-6 years ago accept only SATA SSDs in the M.2 socket.

Lenovo laptops from 2-3 years ago accept both SATA and NVMe SSDs in the M.2 socket.  The Y700-15ISK is like this.

Current Lenovo laptops accept only NVMe SSDs in the M.2 socket.  The Kingston that you have purchased is a SATA M.2 SSD, so it will not work.  The test is whether it is visible in the BIOS.
