Y720 - Low performances after my computer ran out of batterie.

2018-03-24, 17:15 PM

Hello,

I'm a french native speaker, i'll do my best to describe my problem. This is the first problem I encounter.

Gaming Laptop :

Laptop :Lenovo Y720 (1 year old)

CPU : I5-7300HQ @2.50GHz

RAM : 8.00 GO

GPU : Gefore 1060 6GB

Problem :

I was watching series, my computer was unplugged (on batterie mode), and ran out of batterie. It stopped itself. I then plugged it in and started it again to continue what i was doing. At some point the batterie was fully loaded, and i wanted to play game. I noticed that the performances were very low (20fps) as if my laptop was in batterie mode you know, the performances are low when in batterie mode, but my computer was plugged in.

What I did so far :

I looked on how to solve my problem on the internet before posting on lenovo's forum. I went to batterie setting and made sure the computer said it was plugged in (it was). I put the setting on high performances. I ran the game using Nvidia High performance GPU, I rebooted the computer, I ran virus/malwere scan, nothing.

So far nothing worked and still have the problem.

What do you guys think ?

Hi,
Can you please apply the latest BIOS?
Make sure the laptop is charged and plugged in.
