Re: lenovo y720 sleep problem.

Hi flashbackon!

Welcome to the Lenovo forum!

We found a similar discussion from the Lenovo forum https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Gaming-Laptops/Lenovo-legion-y720-sleep-issue/m-p/3874218/highlight/tru... and you check out the suggested solution.

For the BSOD error, run the Lenovo hardware scan using the Lenovo vantage https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht505081?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6 and check for the result code. Update us back!

Regards!

Re: lenovo y720 sleep problem.

Thank you. It means that the issue is not related to a hardware failure. You may use Whocrashed app to identify what is causing the BSOD error.

Download it here: https://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed_os.htm

You may also use the Lenovo Vantage app to scan for driver updates.

To isolate software issues, you may perform a clean boot. See this article on how to perform a clean boot: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

See if the issue will not occur after the clean boot.

Regards,

Matt_lenovo
