touchpad not working in legion 5 15IMH05H

good evening 
 i bought a new laptop legion 5 15IMH05H and since the first day the touchpad was not work inside the windows 10 or in the Bios  and i tried to  install all the drivers  but its still not work , and also the touchpad did not even appear in the device manger , so anyone can help me in this

Hello @Charge,

 

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

I would recommend opening the device manager and uninstalling the HID compliant touchpad device.

It can be located inside the human interface device section of the device manager.

 

Once this is done please restart the machine and test the touchpad after.

Thanks for the update.

 

Have you tried the hotkeys for enabling the touchpad?

I believe its F10 or FN+F10 for your machine.

Hello @charge,

 

Sorry for the late response.

 

Since the touchpad is not working within the BIOS or after the troubleshooting you may have a hardware issue.

I would suggest reaching out to service if the machine is still under warranty.

 

You can reach them at Primary: 0800-0000-850 Secondary: 0800-0000-744
