I assume you have the i7 + 1050Ti version and yes - this is happening, battery is getting drained while under load. The AC adapter is just not powerful enough (135W; 1060 models scome with 170W) but Lenovo refuses to acknowledge that. I found some people here in the forum having same problem and Lenovo replaced the AC adapter with 170W but they refused to do that for me here in CZ. Buying one is always and option...
You can undervolt the CPU and GPU - this will reduce the battery drain.
Also installing "Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework" might help with managing that. It will throttle the CPU frequency but it's not that impactful on performance - I'm seeing even better results on Cinebench (undervolting included).
