Having a bad RAM installed in a machine can cause a lot of damage to a system. If your system is acting up, and you wish to find out if a bad RAM is the issue, here is a list of possible symptoms to look out for:

  • Windows doesn’t start, showing different error messages each time;
  • Windows crashes (blue screen) or freezes frequently;
  • Windows crashes as soon as you try to start a program; and
  • Unexplained random crashes and system freezes without error messages.

How can bad RAM be identified?

You may run Diagonastis from Boot Menu by pressing "F10" and choose Memory - Quick Test if that passes then run "Memory - Extended Test".

I am having issues with my Motherboard and ran all of tests every think passed except Memory. It is failing and Result Code is UME800800-WM7C0F.  I have even ran extended one as well and it freezes in the middle. I do not know the resolution of it. My Laptop ran out of warranty. Could any body suggest how to get this refurbished economically?
