How to contact Lenovo Support?

Is there any way to contact Lenovo Support directly?

If you go to the contact section of the support site, there is no contact option!!!!!

There is no e-mail address, or chat available.

My problem is that the specs for my laptop (700-15ISK) are not complete. Not a single word about the on-board M.2 slot.

And i don't want to dig through the forums to get this piece of information.

I want a clear statement, coming from a Lenovo representative.

Thanks!

Hi there, Stelea          -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

I would suggest you visit the nearest Lenovo service centres for assistance. Schedule a Call-back for faster support.

Update us how it goes.

Re: How to contact Lenovo Support?

LoL

This is what i get:

The document you have requested is not available. You may have entered an incorrect URL or login with authorized credentials (for Lenovo Field Servicers and/or Call Center Agents only) to view the page.

And to answer the question you're about to ask, yes, i am logged in.

And no, this is not acceptable.

I need to be able to get in touch with a Lenovo representative in a written form.

You know: verba volant, scripta manent. Google it if you don't know what it means!

For example, last year i had some issues with a Motorola mobile phone. I don't recall exactly what was the mechanism, but i left somewhere a message with my enquiry (probably a contact form on the support webpage), and someone got back to me (with an incident number). We exchanged 5 or 6 e-mail messages. The e-mail address of the Motorola Tech Support was motorola-reply@mailwc.custhelp.com at that time.

Does Lenovo have such a support mechanism?

I am pretty sure the answer is yes, so my next question is WHY????

Perhaps the vast majority of the buyer base are not interested in the support when they buy a product, but for me, support is very important. In this case i need to know exactly what my upgrade options are. And i don't want to find out searching through forums. I want the manufacturer to give me that information. Because, you know, they manufactured the product i bought.

In this case i assumed i will get the best support possible from a worldwide recognized prestigious manufacturer.

Assumption is the mother of all , i know.

My epiphany for today: never buy something before knowing whas support you're getting.

I apologize for the long and perhaps off-topic reply on a thread i started.
I only need to know how do i raise a support case with Lenovo.

Thank you!

Re: How to contact Lenovo Support?

I could be wrong about you location, but it appears from the RO abbreviation that you are posting from Romania, so try calling the Romanian support number below.    They should be able to answer your question, or if not, perhaps setup a ticket or point you in the right direction.

Re: How to contact Lenovo Support?

Thank you for your suggestion, and in the end it may be the only option.

But those are for Support Center telephone numbers for ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and ThinkStation systems

As i stated earlier, i prefer written communication, and i think the reason is obvious.
It's incredible that in 2016, Lenovo does not offer this.

Am i really the only one having this problem? Smiley Happy

Found the phone number for Romania:

But guess what, it doesn't belong to Lenovo!
It belongs to a local service provider.

How cool is that?

Re: How to contact Lenovo Support?

Hello Stelea,

I totally agree with what you have said about the lack of customer support and not being able to contact Lenovo Direct. Its the same with this forum I joined to ask for help and never got a responce to my question nor a welcome.I don't think I will be purchashing anything from Lenovo if this is how they treat their customers.Alan1950.

Re: How to contact Lenovo Support?

Same for me.

I bought this laptop for 3 reasons:

- good value for the money

- upgrade options

- brand

Now i realize that without support, everything else is dust in the wind.

Still waiting for a Lenovo representative to show up. I doubt they even read this forum.
Cheers!
