Ideapad flex 4 to Legion Y?

Hello there,

Not really sure whether this is a topic that i can post here on this particular section. If it is against the rule, please let me know i will removed it.

Earlier this year( around January) I purchased a ideapadd Flex 4 from the Microsoft store around my house. Everything is fine, until one day my screen started to go black and sometimes the screen color become very very red. I took the laptop to the store before i went back. The store told me that it is because the laptop's screen itself is kind damaged which require me to send my laptop back to Lenovo to fix the screen. When i bought my computer, I also have the one year warranty with this computer. My question right now is is it possible for me to say instead of asking Lenovo to fix the screen, can I say exchange this laptop for a new series? what I mean is I saw the Lenovo Legion online and was thinking is it possible to say i send in my old one and get Lenovo Legion and any price difference between the two laptop i will just pay? it is just that if i do send in my ideapad to Lenovo it will take 2 weeks for them to fix and i really really tried to avoid that because my class is about to start and without my only laptop for more than a week is a bit of stretch for me. I see that for me to order the Lenovo laptop online will approximately take them 3-4 days to ship

If this topic is not ok to post here please do let me know and if this issue is better for me to talk to a representative in Lenovo, please let me know i will do so as well Smiley Happy

Re: Ideapad flex 4 to Legion Y?

Hi Reiya,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I believe it would not be possible for a replacement (swapping flex to legion y) as the original system is outside return date and would rather have the repair as a possible in-warranty option.

You can try calling in technical support at 877-453-6686 24 hours/day 7 days/week.

Hope this help answer your query.

Regards
