The FedEX got just dropped it off. It really did arrive 2nd day air. THANKS TIM!!! :smileyvery-happy:  Ok, so...can anyone tell me how to install it? I have a T400 I purchased August 2008. :smileytongue:

take 5 screws out from the bottom of the laptop. The screws are labeled with keyboard icons on the bottom plastic case. After take them out, pop the keyboard out with the small cable. Put the new one on the keyboard place, put the screws back, and enjoy the solid keyboard.:smileyhappy:

received the keyboard today...very solid feel. Comparing the two, i can now see why so many lenovo fans were complaining.

New keyboard came on FedEx today. I haven't got it installed yet, but just pressing on the keys is night and day different between my stock T400 keyboard and this new replacement, FRU 42T3143, the packing list states this is the NMB keyboard.

 

This keyboard feels much like my old T43, can't wait to get this installed.
