LENOVO YOGA 730 REPAIR TAKING 2 Months Long and they keep extending it.

I was told it will take 9 business days to fix the screen flickering and keyboard. The agent said they have the parts in stock and will fix it. B

 

Once they receive the laptop September 12th. As per the status On September 17th they would finish the repair by October 31st 2019. (which was deleted and does not show anymore).  I contacted the chat agent on September 18th, and asked me to contact them in 3 business days.  

 

And Today On September 21st, I read the status, it says, The REPAIR WILL BE DONE ON NOVEMBER 7TH 2019. 

 

Are they punishing me for something?

 

 

I have a project to finish for a class by the end of november. I would prefer to work at home but I have to go to library which closes at 11:00PM. It becomes really inconvienient.

This laptop work great for a 11 months and suddenly stopped working.

 

I always preferred Lenovo over any other company. I paid $1400 for the laptop with 3 Years Accidental Damage. 

I would like to get a refund for the laptop. 

 

I am frustrated right now. I cant finish my assignments on time. I have work project to finish. I have so much pressure on my head and Lenovo is taking really, really long time.

 

I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!.

 

At least send a replacement or refund the money. MY PATIENCE IS WEARING OFF. 

 

I AM A LOW WAGE PERSON  and going through hard times here. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.

As the estimated time for a repair is projected to be longer than that which might be considered reasonable you have the option of requesting your case to be escalated in order to find alternative resolutions. The quickest way of doing so is to call the support number for your country & product, state your current case number & status and the request an escalation; the call representative will be able to advise you on any further steps in the process.

After long hold Rep said:

Cover of LCD is what they are waiting for. 

 

They escalated the case.

I am not sure what option I have  since they are waiting for the part.

 

It is very vital to have the laptop before end of September.

With full faith I sent the laptop to Lenovo after a rep assured me it will take 9 business days. 

 

Hoping for the best!!!

 

Will keep the Thread Updated as soon as I get response from Case Manager
