Lenovo terrible shipping experience

I placed an order for Thinkbook on 22 Dec 2020, the laptop was shipped on 28 Dec, expected to arrive on 30th Dec 2020, then magically, on the UPS tracking portal, when I tracked the item, it said service interruption, the item is being returned to Sender, the laptop was returned to Lenovo warehouse on Jan 4.

Before January 4, I called the customer care line, the lady told me she will create a priority ticket to reship the laptop to me, and that I will receive an email within 24-48 hrs, no further information yet. Each time I call them, I receive new/conflicting information, last week Thursday, the customer care lady told me the case has been approved and I will get an email within 24-48 hours, no email yet.

Today, another lady told me that my case is executing, but there is no timeline yet for when I will get the laptop. The bottom line is Lenovo is messed up and I am kinda regretting while I place that order, I urgently need a laptop to complete a job,

wondering if I should just go ahead and cancel the order and move on with my life.

I'm in the same boat. My laptop was also returned on the 4th of Janurary (I had one rep tell me all Canadian orders were sent back). I am also waiting, but FYI they did give me a 5% credit when I pushed.
