Maintenance Disk - Serial No & Ideapad

Hi,

 

I replaced my motherboard on a Lenovo Yoga 900-13ISK. All is running well.

 

My issue is that I would like to update the Serial Number (#####) and Product Number (80MK)

 

I have downloaded the ******** diskette maintenance tool and tried to run this. Unfortunately I cannot see to get it to work.

 

I install the software on a USB, change the boot parameters and it starts up:

 

Then we get the menu:

 

Finally when I select option 1:

 

I have tried hitting esc through the whole boot sequence and nothing stops it

 

I also do not have any password on the BIOS:

 

 

So I am not sure what is going on. Any ideas would be most appreciated.

 

One question I had is whether this maintenance software will actually work with the Yoga 900-13ISK - I believe this is called an IdeaPad.

 

Any help would be very much appreciated

Hello,

 

The Lenovo Maintenance Disk software is a Lenovo licensed software which is only available to authorized Service Partners, a Service Partner who has questions regarding the use of the software should contact their Service Supervisor or Lenovo Service Delivery Manager. Discussion on usage is not permitted in open forum, this thread has been locked by me.
