Missing Laptop for 3 months

In late October I sent in my lenovo laptop to be serviced since the battery on my machine stopped working. It would not boot and it also would not recognize a charger, so I could not turn my computer on. In early december, I received an alert from lenovo that the service request had been cancelled. I had added a note that if they had to reset the harddrive, i would prefer for the computer to be returned since there is data I need on the machine. I assume this to be why it was cancelled.


When I received this cancel notice, I assumed that the depot would simply return the laptop. I have now called lenovo customer service on 4 separate occasions since early December. All of these customer service representatives put in an inquiry with the facility that my laptop should be at and offered an estimate of 1-3 days to get a response. Not a single time I have gotten a response, not by phone nor by email.


I have now decided that I will call customer service every day at 5 pm my time to ask about the whereabouts of my computer. I will not stop until my laptop is return to me. I have way better uses of my time but lenovo has now become enemy #1.


Can somewhere monitoring these forums please get in contact with me about my laptop?

I'm sorry that you have experienced such a delay, I was able to find your service case and have escalated this for you to the Customer Relations Team for further investigation and resolution. Once assigned to a Case Manager you will be contacted, probably early next week, negating the necessity for you to continue calling support.
