Need for Warranty support

Hi, I purchased a brand new Lenovo Edge 2 - 1580 Laptop from Bestbuy while I was at West Palm Beach, Florida, USA. The Serial Number of the Laptop is ***********  and Model Number is 80QF0004US. I travelled back to India. Everything went on fine until one day, when I heard a craking sound on the hinges while I was closing my laptop. Two screws came out broken. The touch panel got removed from the back panel and is almost hanging. The covers that are over the hinge region came out. Currently, the laptop is working fine, yet I cannot close the laptop. Kindly find attached photos for immediate reference.

I am currently in Chennai, India. Kindly help me in getting warranty support so that I get the laptop serviced and back to normal condition.

Hello RK, welcome to the community,

 

after checking on the IWS (International Warranty Services) site it would appear that the Edge 2-1580 notebook you have is regrettably not covered in any country other than in the US; it is possible that the particular system was never sold in India where you are now.  Of course it makes sense to contact customer support in India to ask if they are able to assist you.

Hi, Thanks for the suggestion. Now is that I am in the US and have got the laptop. I have handed over the laptop at Best Buy San Bernandino and the service confirmation number is NF2V2K9R. Kindly look into it and let me know what best could be done. I believe that lenovo provides be best service possible and I do not face the same issue again.
