I bought a laptop last Saturday 11/27/2010 and noticed today a double withdraw on my account.

 

I want to make sure I am not going to be charged twice for the laptop.

I am a grad student. My advisor just got me a t510 laptop.
I received it and noticed it did not have an integrated camera as advertised. I was on the phone for ages with tech support until the guy finally said yeah, you convinced me it doesn't have a camera.

I thought "that is nice since I can see it right in front of me..."


He says to call 877694465

So I do. They tell me my computer doesn't have a camera. I say well it said it did on the advertisement.

They say I must have been mistaken. I explain that it is fairly straightforward. They give me an email. I send them a copy of the ad.

 

The outlet still hasn't fixed it as you can see.  I imagine at some future time they may update it.  I have a PDF of the page I emailed, but it did not see how to attach it.

Then I never hear back. I call back a few times and they say things like our email is down. So and so is doing it and they are out. This is like a week ago (December 1st actually).

I don't know if lenovo is aware of how bad the service is, but someone should be.  This sort of behavior is unacceptable.  I would have been happy if they shipped me the camera assembly FRU 60Y9402 and willing to put it in myself, but the dodging and pretending nothing is wrong is really unaccetable.

I placed an order 2FVDF8 for a wireless remote and I decided to go with a different one instead.

 

so I called Levono to cancel the order 2FVDF8 one hour after I placed the order.

I found out it is close to impossible to cancel a simple one.

1. This is no link in Lenovo website for me to do cancellation myself.
2. I had to wait on hold  on the phone for over 45 minutes to talk to a repr.
3. She told me that I had to wait for two more days for the order to be canceled even though the order was place less than one hour ago.

The Lenovo repr. told me to place the new order for the right item so I placed another order 2FVJ35.

I bought many electronics on line before. Their sites have the cancellation link for me to cancel it myself and I can finish it in less than 2 minutes.

I owned a Lenove desktop that runs great. I am thinking about getting a Lenovo laptop this month. This experience makes me reluctant to buy a new laptop from Lenovo website.

Hello, 

 

I'd like to order a Lenovo T510 with some customized components inside. I had two major problems which totally discourage me from becoming a Lenovo customer, despite the T510 is something I dream of....

 

1) I can't figure out what shipping & tax options are available until I place the order or get to some final step in the cart. This is the worst shopping web app I've ever encountered, since I don't know what the total of my order gonna be until I get to the last point of the whole order process. 

 

I'm especially disappointed with shipping options, since I'd up to $100 if had any assurance that I'll get it before 29th.

 

2) I wanna order it to Worcester, near Boston MA, but there's absolutely no way to figure out shipping fee until I place the order. This is terribly annoying since I'm tied up with the budget limit of USD 1300 and I can't figure out what's the total cost gonna be.

 

Summing up, Lenovo makes me sad, since there's only two things I need to know and I can't get this info from their webpage. This results in a terrbile User Experience of your shopping cart. 

 

Could anyone please tell me about some shipping options for Lenovo purchases and roughly estimated shipping costs??

 

I'm really desperate...

I need help. Lenovo customer contact is now telling me this has been paid but my bank shows no bill. I have received many apologies from Lenovo which is NOT the same as having warranranty.

I need help with lenovo outlet order (order # 2FWDVW).

I ordered  x201 on 12-14-10 with ultrabase. 

I got the laptop today, but I didn't get the ultrabase, my order is incomplete.

What can I do?
