Ordered was delayed for more than 12 weeks

Hello everyone!

 

I ordered my LENOVO LEGION Y540 pre-built with RTX 2060 and any other fancy configurations. 

 

Information about the order: 

 

1. I ordered it from the Mexican Lenovo webpage

2. I ordered this September 3rd, 2019

3. The payment was done with AMEX card and the payment was processed and concluded the same day. 

4. The website says shipping from 3-4 weeks even if you are trying to quote a new unit it says shipping and delivery from 3-4 weeks. 

5. With all that being said, my original expected shipping was scheduled for September 20th, 2019 and arriving September 27th, 2019. 

6. Now and then I check to see if there's any progress and for my surpirse the scheduled was changed without notifying me. 

7. The expected shipping is November 22th, 2019 and arriving November 26th, 2019

 

From 3-4 weeks to TWELVE 12 WEEKS OF SHIPPING? What is going on? Not even Dry Vans or Frac Tanks take this long to build.

I needed my laptop for this semester and if it was arriving on the original schedule I will have it before half of the semester, now I'm getting it at the end of the semester when all of my works and projects are done. 

 

This is outrageous, how can something make a transition from 3-4 weeks to 12?! And I'm assuming it's only weekdays so assuming the progress of building the laptop started September 9th, 2019 the 30th to 4th of October would be the 4th week which makes sense but no, screw that right? Let's triple those numbers without further explanation, we are not asking nor buying the next big thing with technology found at NASA or Area 51... 

 

I'm hoping someone from the LENOVO Staff helps me out with this one because it makes no sense whatsoever.

I'm from Mexico too, and yesterday I bought a L340 Gaming, but I'm afraid because the shipping says "More than 4 weeks"

 

Did you get a solution for this? If your case extend from 3 weeks to 12 weeks, then my case would be worse :smileysad:
