Really need help with my refund. Taking forever...

Hello,

 

I wanted to know if anyone was in this situation and what they did about it. I processed a return 14 business days ago and still have not gotten any information on the product or status of the return.

 

I'm kinda agitated because i need to buy a laptop and am stuck waiting because i can't buy another one until i get my refund. The sales guy assured me at the time that the return process would be very easy and free of issues

Hello Naeem7,

 

It certainly shouldn't be taking that long, normally I would expect 14 days after the system had been received into the returns warehouse. Could you post your order number please, nothing else, and I'll see if I can get an update on status for you.

Assuming that you purchased it online using a credit card, I have seen it take from 7 days to 2 weeks (or more) once the credit is posted depending on the vendor and the bank/company that issued your credit card.   

 

You might check with your bank etc. and see if the refund/credit from Lenovo is showing up in their system, because sometimes (if you treat then nice) the bank can push it through a bit faster.

I've been emailing them and ive gotten no update on the status of the refund. I contacted my credit card company and they mentioned that nothing has come to them either. I don't understand why there's no update what so ever. Don't really know who to reach out to now either.

I have been calling and emailing Lenovo since January 6th, looking for my 1616.99. They are under investigation by Citi Card now, still no answer. They claim it is PayPals problem with refunds when in fact I received numerous Paypal refunds regularily with absolutely no problem from other vendors. Nothing ever transpires out of a phone call or email with Lenovo in customer service or accounts receivable. I returned this on December 26th, due to the Wifi non existant, never would hook up. Now I am paying the price for buying a Lenovo Yoga 15.

Lenovo claims they credited me on January 6, but now one person told me they pushed the wrong button for refund or return.

This was one of the many promises that were made that my monies will be refunded to me, when I indeed bought this item in good faith. Please Lenovo, dont rack up another pissed off customer because of a refund that is due.

Here are two excuses I received from The Accounts Receivable Department from Lenovo.

 

#1.    (“I already checked with an account specialist if she could put the refund in manually. I will be back to keep in touch with you as soon as I get her response.” )  01-16-2020

 

#2.   (We apologize for the delay of your request.

As per update that we have received, PayPal is still having issues  with their refunds. We will get back to you again as soon as we receive another update.

I have placed numerous phone calls and many hours of promises logged on the phone getting passed on from accounts receivable to customer service and back again. I am paying fines on my credit card because of this and it isn't fair. If there is a Lenovo employee who may have interest in this to see where my 1616.99 is since January 6th please help.  I returned this Yoga on December 26th, 2019 and had a credit authorizied on January 6th. I was customer invoice number 00000001 for 2020. 

 

My ORDER number was 4294313373 placed on 12/15/2019
