Welcome to the forum!

If you have someone in the States to buy it for you, shipping is the smallest problem, and I ship a lot of ThinkPads to Europe...

My preference is USPS Global Express Mail, because it's fully trackable every step of the way, and that would probably run you somewhere between $50 and $75 depending on weight and insurance included.

Hope this helps.
Cheers,

George

I have been told that Lenovo can deliver to Latvia via Lithuania.

MacBook Pro, with an aluminum unibody enclosure **As of September 15, 2008, our company has completely switched to Apple. Having used ThinkPad products for over 10 years, we had desperately tried to find just one reason to continue using these products, to no avail. We are of the view that ThinkPads are no longer premium products. We wish you the best of luck with your ThinkPad! Happy computing…**

If you are buying a machine from Lenovo's U.S. site, you need a credit card with the billing address within the U.S. No foreign cards are accepted.

That's why I've stated what was the best to ship the machine from the States on a person-to-person basis.

Cheers,

George

I can't understand, why Lenovo not send to Europa. Lenovo offer - check out with PayPal. I have register my creditCard in PayPal and can to pay. Lenovo need only say shipment company my Latvia address.

But ok, rules is rules :) Right now I find potential friend in USA, who forward package to me.
