Shipped, Yet Not Shipped

I received an email from Lenovo indicating my X1 Yoga shipped March 6, 2018. After checking my orders at the Lenovo website, a shipping label was created March 9, 2018. I have a multi-part question: How can an item ship three days before a shipping label is created and why was my credit card charged before the item shipped? Is this not a breach Lenovo's terms of service? The expected delivery date was March 12, 2018 (yesterday). Is it too burdensome for Lenovo to update the "My Orders" area so I don't have to keep pestering their CSRs with updates? No one seems to be sure when the laptop will ship, even if it is ready to ship, and even less so when I might receive it. Kindly view the attached image for verification.

Hello Babaghan, welcome to the Community,

 

Your order left the factory on March 6. 2018 in a bulk shipment to UPS who then are tasked with separating out the bulk order into individual orders and delivering them.  On checking the UPS tracking number you should see that the first scan entry was when your order arrived in Canada.  And yes orders are invoice when they leave the factory.
