What system type and how was it ordered?

Does configuration really determine whether it ships from china appropriately packaged? This was a new build, not a refurb, or a prebuilt purchase.

Has anyone received a computer, loose in a large box, wth only brown paper as protection? Is this a lenovo standard practice?
The CTO system would have come from China in a box marked Thinkpad with a label showing the parts list and sealed with tamper resistant tape marked with Lenovo on the seal. Inside, the computer should have been suspended between plastic bumpers. There is also a narrow cardboard box which contains the power brick and additional parts. All of this assumes that the system was directly ordered from Lenovo.

Was this directly ordered from Lenovo? This looks like a repackaging of the contents. I can't read the shipping label. What does the return sender address read as?
