Terrible Customer Service Problems With "Lenovo Ideapad y910

I am very dissatisfied with the lenovo services, that can not be accepted.

I sent my laptop to the lenovo uk service to repair it on 06.12.2017 and since then I have not repaired it until now, already there for two and a half months. Only promises and lies come from them. I bought the laptop with 2000 euros and I invested in upgrades 600 euros to fill the empty slots (rams and ssd disks) and broke after 3 months of operation, but I still have not got my laptop repaired or new one. In this way, lenovo appreciates customers who give a lot of money on their products.. so their customers are so appreciated..

It's a big shame for such a big company to do that with his clients..

there are many incidents in which customers are cheated..

manny people i have the same problem with customers lenovo just look:

and there are many cases of that kind.... so this is lenovo's support!!!!

Re: Terrible Customer Service Problems With "Lenovo Ideapad y910

you will not be fooled by some people who do not care about expensive things bought with lots of money to make you really right you fight for your right
all those who have such a problem will be comfortably writing here. we can unite and if we do not repair in time or do not change our laptop
we have given heavy money for their products. and if our rights are violated we do not let ourselves down!!!

Hello CsabaSimon, welcome to the Community,

Under the circumstance I would suggest that you request a complaint be opened on your behalf, this can be done by contacting the call center and on hand of your current case number request the representative to escalate to a complaint.  They will be able to explain any further steps in the process.

I was able to speak to someone in complaints and found out that you do already have a case open and that your case manager has been keeping you informed of progress. Also, regretably, about a delay because it was discovered that further parts were required which are on their way to the depot.

Re: Terrible Customer Service Problems With "Lenovo Ideapad y910

NIGHTMARE Customer Service!, STAY AWAY!!  THEY DON"T CARE AOUT YOU OR YOUR PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PRODUCTS!!!  THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND FOR YOU TO GET LOST!!! Bought a new laptop from lenovo.com  Just received my Yoga 920, configured with the best configuration available. Also, paid for Microsoft Office preinstalled.  Microsoft Office will not activate.  Have spent over 5 hours on the phone trying to get help.  Have been using Windows and Office since the mid 90's so I have a good understanding on how things work.  Calls get shipped to the Phillipines and the support people I talked to have struggled with understandable English and that is being generous.  Not only is there a communication problem, there main goal was to get me off the phone.  The first one told me that it was Microsoft's problem and I needed to call them.  I knew that was wrong but that was her final answer, 1 good hour wasted.  So, to check every box I called Microsoft.  After the tech had a good laugh, he told me that was absolutely wrong and to call back Lenovo, it was their problem.  Called back Lenovo, 2nd support no better. She said that was too bad and to follow the instructions that were emailed to me.  Funny, I never thought of that, great idea- sarcastic interjection.  I told her I had tried that numerous times as I had told the first agent.  After approx 1:15 hrs, she then says that she will turn this over to their Microsoft specialist.  That would have been nice at the beginning of the call.  She said he will get back to me in the next 48 business hours, this was Thursday night so that puts it at Tuesday, since Monday is a holiday.  REMEMBER, this is just to activate Microsoft Office, I can only imagine how much more horrendous it would be if it were a more complex problem.  What happened to the easy activation key?  I then made a couple of calls back to Lenovo Sales in North Carolina, trying to get someone to take an interest in my problem and they assured me that I could just have the Microsoft Office credited back and I would buy it myself and install it ( 2hours  more on the phone).  They told me to call back on Monday, sure enough, bad information.  Called Monday got transferred back to the Phillipines for the Office credit, not true.  My two options they gave me.  I can send the $2300 computer back, minus 15% restocking and the shipping costs, approx $375 or buy my 2nd round of Microsoft office for $250 and install it myself.  They said Office is already on the machine and the fact it can not be activated is irrelevant and my problem. By the way, when on the phone with agent 2, she promised and guaranteed that I would get a PHONE call from Microsoft specailist, NOT an e-mail.  So, when I got no phone call but an e-mail I was not surprised. Better yet, his e-mail was the same instructions that I had already been doing countless times. WIN-WIN, in his book, it is case closed, and for me, another Lenovo customer screwed, $2300 less than I had 10 days ago and with a computer that doesn't work right.  I would happily welcome any Lenovo response, and I would be shocked to hear any if my experience so far is any indication.  If any of you are considering Lenovo and even have a possisbility of ever needing their help in any capacity, look elsewhere!

Re: Terrible Customer Service Problems With "Lenovo Ideapad y910

Hello and welcome to the Community,

Sorry to have to read about your experience, I'm sure it's been very frustrating. I'm also a fan of receiving a product key which you just type in and everything works but unfortunately things have moved in a different direction bringing new issues to what should be a relatively simple process.

You mentioned having received an email, have you responded to it with the screen shot after running Word or Excel whilst trying to activate? If you have did you include the original mail and leave the subject unedited because I'm not seeing a response in the case which was opened for you.
