Im still under warranty from a laptop i got in argos last june so im phoning tomorrow to see what can be done.
There is no way it can be fixed over the phone so its going to need to be sent in....
What is the procedure ? ....Does someone come to my house to pick it up or do I need to post it and pay the postal charges myself ?
Also,can I remove my hard-drive ?
Also also, where is the support team based ?

You can use the link below to search and find the warranty options for your computer. Unless you bought some kind of service like ThinkPlus and on-site service you have to send the computer. Using the link below should give you the answer.
I suggest you ask when you give Lenovo a call tomorrow whether or not you have to send the HDD as well. I doubt that you have to send the HDD unless it's related to the problem you experience with the computer.
Not sure where the service center in your location is located, but i guess you could ask when you give them a call. Since you might have to send or deliver the computer i'm sure they can give you an answer.

Can someone please advise me of a few things...
1.Do Lenovo phone me or email me to let me know they have received the laptop at their repair centre ?
2.Do they phone or email to confirm that they can fix it ?
3.Do they phone or email to let me know when I will receive my laptop back ?
4.I am in Scotland, does the laptop get sent to England or is there repair centres locally in Scotland ?
5.Is there an email contact for Lenovo so I can be updated on the repair ?
Thanks in advance.
