Warranty repair wrong memory size on laptop

Hello, I sent a Lenovo Carbon X1 3rd gen tablet in for repair. They fixed the broken screen issue but I found out that they gave me the 8gb ram version instead of the 16gb ram version I sent in. I opened up a support ticket 40BNJ6T but I received no response. I even stated that I can provide the receipt from Amazon where I purchased it. Is there anyone I can contact to help get this issue resolved?

The memory on the 3rd gen carbon is soldered.  It seems unlikely that someone would change the motherboard.  Could the receipt be wrong?

No because Ive noticed performance issues with my laptop that I didnt have from before the warranty repair while doing the same tasks.

Hello @bnmw757 

Unfortunately the case number doesn't show in the system, I suspect there is maybe a typo in there but I would suggest you contact support and inform them, provide them with a photo of BIOS showing the amount of RAM and then, using your serial number, they will be able to establish how much RAM the system should have.

That was the serial they gave me in the attached email as seen in the screenshot.

They will be able to find the case based on the system serial number, my advice is to call and speak to them about the situation.
