Which Model

2011-01-19, 16:23 PM

I am looking for a laptop to run my business from. I am often away from the office overseas and need to have full access at all times. The laptop will replace the desk top. Any help appreciated as I have not had a Lenovo before.

Depends what you are looking for.

Do you need a really good autonomy, very portable or do you need performance. What is the price you want to pay.

Try to decribe your needs.

You can go there in the lenovo PC finder : http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/special-offers.workflow:ShowPromo?LandingPage=/All/US/Landing_pages/Info/09/laptop-finder-for-me

Or you can go in the virual showroom where you can chat with Lenovo sellers : http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/special-offers.workflow:ShowPromo?LandingPage=/All/US/Sitelets/eLounge/welcome

The T510 series are great machines. Running i5's and i7's and all. :)

Yes they are, but if you are often out of the office, they don't have a great autonomy on battery. T410s is a bit better for that.

Otherwise X201 is great for mobility, but you need an ultrabase to have a DVD player and connections. W series are powerfull but almost useless if you are on battery.

Really depends what you do with your laptop.
