Worst Customer Support Ever

I sent my Lenovo laptop in for repair and the Lenovo repair department received it on 6/25.  When I sent it in, they told me it would be repaired within 9 business days.  It has been over a month and I have called multiple times and no one is able to give me any update at all.  It is beyond frustrating.

Same problem here.  Sent in for very minor repair in June and nothing but lies and lack of any information ever since.  They told me twice in the last two weeks that it was done (reps just wanted to get me off the phone), only for another representative to tell me days later that it hasn't been touched.....  They have now officially owned my computer for longer than I have and I am completely out of options.

Make sure you get your case escalated.  I made another call this morning and finally someone who had the authority to replace my computer called and they are sending a new machine.  

 

From my previous calls, they told me that they were in the process of changing facilities as to where machines are being repaired.  It almost sounded like the computer was lost and they had no idea where it was.  It has been a very frustrating and time consuming process.  I'm just happy they're finally just replacing the computer.

 

Hopefully you're able to get some type of resolution as well.  Good luck!

My nightmare continues! 

 

Lenovo customer support refuses to answer my questions.  Granted they are highly technical/difficult questions:  "When will my computer be repaired?" and sometimes I ask "when could I expect to get my computer returned". 

 

They always answer with an apology (most annoying thing ever, I do not need an apology- I need a functioning computer), followed by "we have submitted an expedite request" or "a detailed action report has been requested", but neither result in any answers.  I've had my warranty repair expedited 5 or 6 times now.   Obviously no one cares.

 

They escalated my case to the Customers Relations Management Team on Tuesday morning, but I haven't heard anything from them despite being told that they would make a note to call me within 24hrs.

It feels like it will never stop...  

 

I know that the next representative will tell me that everything is being taken care of immediately and say "I'll give you an update in 24 hrs".  But, it remains true that no representative has ever given me a follow-up to any of our discussions or their promises. And the online status of the computer has not changed since July 11th...  I've spoken/chatted with 10 separate representatives (plus a half-dozen emails) since then and asked for my broken computer to be returned unrepaired on multiple occasions.

 

I really just need this whole thing to end. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE  HHHEEEELLLLPPPPPPPP!!!!!

Where is my computer?  Lenovo warranty will not send it back to me despite multiple return requests.

I have the same issues with my 520s AIO. The worst pc ever bought. The oficial lenovo service does only a simple format and hardware check. It is for laughs

What a horrible computer.
At one week before the warranty was up and the covid was in full affect - my Lenovo desktop craps out on me from a hardware defect. ONE YEAR. A Hardware Issue!


I called 3 times, 6 days apart, and was told that someone in Warranty would contact me in 3-5 biz days. No one ever called. All I'm asking for - Is Lenonvo the kind of company that stands up behind its product? Send me a shipping label and take this POS off my hands and send me back a new one.

So far, I find them to be a company running a scam. Buy their product and after one year it shows a blue screen claiming that it needs to be restarted, over and over again.
Customer service is dodging me and I have been very pleasant to those I've been talking to.


A HARDWARE FAILURE AT ONE YEAR. What a terrible product. Too bad i need my computer. But I certainly do not recommend anyone getting a Lenovo product. They do not make a good one, nor do they stand up behind their failures.

Hello @Michael919 welcome to Community,

 

Sorry you're experiencing an issue with your system which may be solvable without the system requiring service. Blue screens can be caused by many factors including both software and hardware causes and some by bad operating system or driver updates. Perhaps you could post the detailed symptoms and error code in the appropriate board for your system and call on the experience of members to assist you.
