Hi HankEdp,

It sounds like you need to do a network/security reset.

Here is a link to the users manual for the ix4-200dCE:
http://download.lenovo.com/nasupdate/manuals/ix4-200d_cloud/ix4-200d_en_us.pdf

Excerpt from page 9:
3. Reset Button: Hold the RESET button for four seconds to reset security and network settings. This allows you to regain access if network settings are incorrect or you've forgotten your password.

You will find a picture displaying the location of the reset button on page 8.

HankEdp,

Yes, on the "Users and Groups" page of the UI, you can create a new user and make it an admin.

Please see page 100 in the users manual:

Hi,

with the Ldap Auth is not possible add a local user (or i don't know how...), in this way if the DC in down, is impossible access to Nas..

I don't find where can I set Local user...

HankEdp,

That firmware doesn't look familiar to me.

That screen looks like an AD import window. There is usually a page in the UI, labeled "Users and groups", that has nothing to do with AD.

On that page, you should be able to create a local admin.

What firmware version is this device running?

Hi,

The device has this firmware: 3.2.10.30101

In the "Users and groups" is not possibile add local user, but only domain one.

I try enter to device disconnetting from domain, but the logon don't work without Domain Controller.

I try to access via ssh, but the credentials (Administrator + soho<admin password>) doesn't work,

if is possible access in this way without Domain and add local user i can solve my issue..

Thanks!

HankEdp,

On the hidden support page (IP/diagnostics.html), under "Support access", you can set a root password.

Then via SSH, when logging in as root you enter the word "soho" followed by the password you set, no spaces.

That should get you in.

If it does not, try "sohosoho" followed by the password.

This solution work only with Domain Controller, unfortunately without it, ssh doesn't work.

The only way for my backup solution is revove Nas from Domain and use it with local users :\

I can't use it for users shared.

Thaks for your support!
