Re: Iomega ix4 200d Firmware

Sorry for the necroposting, but I can't find a way to restore said NAS i've bought without disks.
I provided four disks, but I can't go further than the Iomega Logo.
I can't even manage to get an IP.

Where can I find the (any) suitable firmware?

Thank you all.

Re: Iomega ix4 200d Firmware

I did this process years ago, I had to speak to lenovo support who gave me a the zip file with the recovery firmware.

No idea why they keep it a secret..

Let me see if I can dig it out.

I had no luck after HOURS of calls, and I have still to hear from "we'll contact you soon", in december.

Thank you anyway Smiley Sad

Re: Iomega ix4 200d Firmware

Unfortuantly not, I don't know what the Filename would have been to search for it..

I would imagine it was on a USB key that has been formatted.

I would suggest moving to a Synology NAS. I did and it was the best thing I ever did!
