I have a Lenovo ix4-300d, Some reason it started doing parity check and now I'm not able to access the Web GUI but have access through SSH. I want to check what is the progress of the parity check. Is there any command I can use through SSH to find the information?

There is a setting that can be enabled on the ix4-300d to do these monthly parity checks. I found this statement that may explain why you can't access the gui while the check is going on:
Check Enable periodic consistency check to enable a monthly parity or mirror consistency
check. The check helps to prevent a single drive failure from becoming a two-drive failure,
resulting in data loss. The check runs for several hours and can affect performance of the ix4-
300d. If you do not want to run the check, uncheck this option.
The SSH feature is typically used for support only. Is there anything on the screen built in to the storage box that gives you a status update?

Thanks for your reply. The screen message is "Data protection is being reconstructed. 15%." after almost 24 hours it started reconstructing. Is there any way I can stop this now and is there any chance I may lose data?

There are some things I think we can try but to be safe would it be possible to backup the data on the NAS?
From there we can try holding the reset button for 15 seconds.

Unfortunately don't have any HDD to backup that 5TB data . Seems the NAS stuck with data protection reconstruction.
Do you think reset will help me to get into the NAS?

I believe the best course of action here is to wait a little bit to see if it recovers itself. At the moment the data is accessible and due to the size of the drive it could be recovering from the power loss and that could take days.

The support for this product is not through the normal "System x support or ThinkServer" support.
Support can be requested via
https://lenovo-eu-en.custhelp.com/app/ask/ or you can call support directly at the phone numbers found here :
If the unit continues to look to be in stuck state please reach out to the support team and we would be glad to assist.
