Lenovo K6 Note / VIBE K6 (K53a48, K53b36) Note - endless rebooting / restarting

Hello. I would appreciate if anyone could help me as this happenned this morning and I am quite desperate and sad with having "lost" my phone..

 

First of all I tried to search in this forum of any similar problem related to the K6 note but I could not find anything, so that's why I start this new topic.

 

This morning my phone was dead on battery so I plugged it to charge it and tried to turn it on. From this point, the only thing that the phone does is that, after the LENOVO logo tries to enter the interface of android, with all the applications etc , but at this point, it starts all over again the rebooting process.. I also tried to start it with safe mode, but the same thing happens (restarting), so I don't think it has to do with any third part applications (in any case I have very few : whatsaapp, a bank application and a voip application).

 

Two last things I have to mention :

 

1) My internal memory is almost 100% full, bacically with photos and videos of my latest trips. So, I really do not want to delete any data from my phone.

2) I do not have an external sd card - instead i have two sims card inserted.

 

I appreciate in advance any help.

Hi lio13,

 

 Let's identify what's causing this rebooting issue, let me help you. 

 

First, when the internal memory of the phone is full or close to full, you may experience a sluggish user interface, latency when switching menus, or in some cases the display freezing or reboot. Furthermore, it is recommended to have at least 15% of SD card storage free. So since you don't want to delete your data on your phone, kindly try to back them up in your computer then try to delete some files there.

 

It is also advisable that you power cycle your device at least once every 24 hours. Power cycling a device will clear its memory, empty its cache and release any AP (app processor) stuck situations, improving its overall performance.

 

At this point, I would suggest a Factory reset through Settings without restore then observe the phone within the day if the issue is persisting.  Please make sure to back up your data before doing this procedure.

Daisy thank you for your reply.

 

However, how can I do a backup if I can not reach the main menu of my phone? I mean it automaticallty restarts before I am able to do anything. Is there a way to do a backup through fastboot? And if yes, how can I do that?
