Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus - Google Sync Issue

There are 2020 phone contacts on my google account, however, I can't find those on my phone even the same account has already been sync with it. There are many contacts that are available to Google Contact desktop, but not available on my phone.

 

Please Help!!!

Hi Aminsha

 

Have you tried going to contacts > three dots on the upper right side > Contacts to Display > select your Google account which you had synced your contacts to?

 

Can you try to resync your contacts to your Google account using wifi?

Hi,

 

I tried doing that multiple time, however, there are few contacts which are still missing from my phone contact list but it's reflecting on Google Contact desktop.

Google contacts not syncing on K5 Plus (A6020a46)

I'm trying hard to sync my Google contacts on my K5 Plus (A6020a46), is Google to blame for this or Lenovo stock software, I can't believe the hardware is broken?

Every time i try, the contacts i have sync just some of them lol, it's not a rule which. I've tried all the known methods, remove, resync, reset, different contacts apps, other dialers.... it seems Google sync app doesn't do its job due to something.....

There seems to be a bug in VibeK5. Issue is escalated and we all need urgent fix so that feature can be used. Very difficult to use the phone without this feature.

Hi guys,

 

 Please try the following:

 

-Try to un-synch and synch your account

-Back up your contacts

-Try to clear the App's Cache and Data for Contacts Storage.

Go to Settings> Apps>tap 3 dots on the right top corner>show system apps>Contacts storage>clear data or Go to Settings> Apps>tap 3 dots on the right top corner>show system apps>Contacts storage> Storage >clear data.

 Note:  clearing the data will remove data that the application has saved so please back up your contacts.

- Sometimes Factory reset worked
