Re: Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus (A6020a46) - Marshmallow update

2017-04-15, 19:07 PM

I want to know how all of u have enabled 4g? Because i have enabled 4g in more wireless settings and enabled enhanced 4g LTE mode in mobile data. Also i have put preferred Network to auto i.e. gsm/wcdma/lte auto mode. Still when i enable data connection the network vanishes completely for 1/2 minute and automatically phone runs on 3g internet. What is the solution?

Make sure you have a 4g sim and that
4g network is available in your area, if still the problem persists, try using any other 4g sim.

Finally if the issue is still not resolved take your phone to your nearest service center.

I am using Airtel 4g and when it searched for network operators it showed me IND airtel 4g and i chose that and even after that there was full network and i checked the network type by swiping down the notification bar it showed airtel 4g but as soon as i enabled data it vanished for few seconds and changed to 3g

Lenovo released a system update for hd capability (VoLte). Check in about phone->system update if you have not updated yet.

I would suggest you to go to your nearest service centre for assistance as it seems to be a problem with your hardware. Before that you can also check if it works with another 4g sim.

If it does then there is clearly a problem with your sim, else if the same problem persists, go to your nearest service center.

You have the latest update installed, so try using any other 4g sim.

Reliance Jio is the only 4g operator in India which is voLTE capable. So if you're using other 4g Sims, you won't see hd capable notification. In Airtel 4g, if you Don't have good 4g signal in your locality it will revert back to 3g or 2g. So put the network in 4g only mode and check again.
