Almost made up my mind to buy this phone fron Flipkart during the ongoing sale despite knowing the issues and hoping to get a working piece but such careless attitude from Lenovo is a deal breaker. Multiple people are complaining of same issue page after page and there is not a single reply from a Lenovo representative !!! Shame. A reputed brand once upon a time has become nothing less than a fraud company.
I notice same happened for Moto G4 and G4 plus ghost touch issue. People never got a resolution.
Lenovo spoiled Moto also.
Sad thing is, there is not a single quality phone manufacturer available in budget and mid range segment in India these days. Lenovo, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo etc which are all cheap quality and poor products. Miss those days when Motorola, Nokia, Sony used to make awesome phones !!
Lenovo - I have not seen a more irresponsible after sales support from any company where the company doesn't even acknowledges the issues faced by almost every user. Shame. Some regulatory action must be taken against this company in India. I personally do not own a Lenovo device currently, but I suggest people to approach consumer court and highlight these issues in media on shows like CNBC Pehredaar etc. Name and Shame Lenovo until they either improve their services or quits India.
Imp note - Called up a Lenovo service centre and somehow managed to know what they are doing to solve this mic problem. As many have mentioned, if the secondary mic is sealed, then the problem apprently seems solved. That is exactly what they do from inside the phone. They don't change any mic strip. Open cheating. People are either having the mic issue or those who got it fixed are using the phone without a secondary noise cancellation mic. Shameful Lenovo.
