Re: Ready to collect issues for K4 note M upgrade

Screen is flickering but not too annoying when the brightness is set to low light. The brightness adjusts to darker if seeing the dark picture or the vice versa

I dont know, why forum moderators or admins are not replying.... Hope they are reading every comments on this post, some update might be in works to solve our issues soon.......especially low RAM issue, battery draining issue, and phone heating up on charging, or on pkaying games, or watching online videos... These are really very annoying, all three issues have come up after marshmallow update, though phone heating was there even on lollipilop, but battery draining and low RAM have have come up, after marshmallow, even 218 update didnt solved this......even at night time, when i put the phone ne in power saver mode + ultimate power saver mode, then also i m loosing about 10% battery by morning.........and battery heating on charging even when phone is switched off........so admins if u are reading our comments, do forward our issues to IT team, and request them to release the update soon....

For ram and battery drains, imo you can solve them in the option of power manager in the setting, then background app setting, now you set all the unnecessary apps off if your phone is inactive. One bug issue in marshmallow is only flickering screen on low level of auto brightness. Maybe the newer updates will solve it

Re: Is upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow safe?

2016-07-11, 6:47 AM

Hi,

After having Personal experience ( After upgrade, Calling facility was disabled then Mother board was changed by service team as it is under warranty period.) with MM upgrade in K4 note. Moreover, again after reading all the issues with MM upgrade in K4 note at this Forum, Is it really Safe to go? I dont want ruin my mobile again and do want to waste my Time around service center. Please suggest me that the upgrade is necessary or not. If necessary, what kind of assurance I will get from Lenovo?

I would suggest not to upgrade to MM on Lenovo K4 Note yet!

As the problems of MM will out-weight the benefits. In MM, Battery Drain, Poor RAM Mgmt, Screen Flickering, Weak Flash, Incosistent Finger Print Sensor, etc are un-resolved issues so far (even after S218 update).

Wait for some more time, or best yet - Stay with Lollipop & be happy with your mobile!

Hi team,

After Marshmallow update I unable to charge my phone when my phone is on. But I cant charge my phone when its off.

And also know my phone battery is draining so fast.

And one more thing model name change from K4 note to some other name.

Please send me a bed bug fix for above mentioned software issues.

Or I really needs to visit your nearby mobile service station.

Regards

Srikanth

My smartphone is overheating quickly after going in android m. Further the ram consumption is also high in android m. It consumes about 2gb ram even if no app is running. I am attaching a screenshot of ram optimisation when no app is running
