So when is Android 11 for Z6 Pro

2021-03-03, 16:23 PM

As we've been flooding the forums for an android 10 update for Lenovo Z6 Pro, just thought why not put up a Android 11 concerning post. For a good phone, enjoying the same old android system feels bored and posting something here in forums seems more enthusiastic. Lenovo Chinese and Lenovo English Are you listening ? *cough* *cough*. Pretty racism for global customers peeps !! We paid enough and we deserve better !

Hi KevinRighter

Unfortunately, your phone is expected to remain on Android 9. See our Upgrade News Page for more information. Here's the link. Thank you for your feedback. I'll pass it along, but we can't guarantee any changes.

Best regards,
Rich

So sorry if you feel that way. The least thing I can do for now is to pass your feedback along. Thank you.

I hope you've forwarded all the info. You've been active across both Motorola and Lenovo forums. I appreciate your efforts. But releasing a phone globally and confining the team to China is really worrisome. Literally, no way to communicating the Zui team. Anyways, moto just started using Stock Android (MyUI, possibly just to mimic Miui ! Lol 🤣) in China. So Zui seems forked.  Too much off topic, but absolute pain 😤

Hi KevinRighter

I understand your point. I have passed your feedback. But unfortunately, I can't promise any changes. Are you referring about the My UX of Moto? If so, that's from Moto app and I don't think it's similar to software skin like MiUI. Thanks.

Re:So when is Android 11 for Z6 Pro

Now, Lenovo has planned to upgrade Z6 Pro to Android 11 in China and they've already released a most stable Android 11 soak test too. Expected stable version is in april 1st week itself. Whats so difficult in upgrading one phone globally??? What's taking them so long and so risk to make this happen? Android 11 for same phone and nothing, not even Android 10 to a phone sold globally. What the heck is this. Dear Agent Rich, you've always said, feedback was sent and but we've received nothing from them except that software upgrade matrix which was left over garbage. We demand straightforward to Android 11 upgrade, and for soak testing you can start taking testers. We'll join, we'll make it happen with ease.

MyUX is the name given to software for Lenovo and Lemon phones in China and it is actually near stock Android without play store and some Chinese stock apps.
