We need kitkat 4.4 as soon as possible ...
We have paid full amount to get this phone .. And if u dnt care about updates ..next time noone will buy lenovo products .. Not even full support is given (kernal source) ..

Dont just leave the customers hanging .. Or u will face fate soon ..

Samsung Note II which is more than an year old is receiving the upgrade and my Lenovo K900 which was lauched in June is not.......Shame.....Won'y buy Lenovo next time if my phone doesn't get the upgrade soon.

Lenovo please do support your flagship phone for the 18 month update window which all the Android OEMs pledged to, and do provide us with quick updates with Android 4.4 KitKat.
You need to win the favor of your current customers, by updating your phones reasonably quickly, and by doing so, you can impress probable customers and build some confidence in the Lenovo Smartphone brand at the same time...

I dont think this is the way we should communicate.

We would like to know first what are Lenovo plans for 4.4 update - which models and when. Then we can comment is this fair or not. Cutomer requirements are quite clear.

1.) K900 should get 4.4 update (I think this is both on Intel and Lenovo side)

2.) Lenovo should release full source code so that developers can create custom ROMs (even if that voids warranty)

I hope this will get to someone at Lenovo who can make a decision.

All the other firms have already released the list of devices getting 4.4 update......paid 33k for my k900 and still stuck with 4.2........note 2 and one x (both are more than year old) are getting 4.4. Leave flagships, even minis of s4 and HTC one are getting the update. I believe its time now that lenovo started supporting their flagships 'atleast'. Lenovo should be ashamed.

i think lenovo should all for update to latest versions . the update during the warrenty should be free and they can charge a small nominal fee once a year after the warrenty period for upgrade to the latest version.

Please Lenovo grow up.

Excuse my ignorance but Is there any lenovo phone that was given OS upgrade like from gingerbread to ICS or from ICS to Jelly bean?

I have P700i - never been updated to jelly bean and lenovo does not reply to any of queries regarding OS update.

I also have K900, had 2 firmware upgrade but never any hint of OS update from lenovo - the latest firmware upgrade (_31010) reduces my battery life. It's like moving backward and deteriorating morethan improving the performance. If no assurance of any update in the future I guess I have to shift my loyalty to other smartphone companies.
