After my lenovo k8 note Oreo update, there is a problem in camera, 1st shot blurred 2nd good. Heating is so fast playing heavy or light games, droping FPS while playing games makes laggy and draining battery.

Camera/RAM management/battery etc. problems on the k8 note.

where do I even begin. The phone was fine when I first got it but has turned horrible over the months. After I updated to Oreo, my battery now lasts 5 hours tops with minimal useage. Even using it just as a audio player with flight mode on yeilds me the same amount of runtime. And the surprising part is, I barely run heavy apps on my phone. Previously, with full brightness and 4G on, I could watch videos for literally 5 - 6 hours but that feels like a pipe dream now. The RAM management is the worst part abkut this phone. At all times 50% of the RAM is always in use. And apps randomly crash because the system gets confused on where to allot the meagre amount of RAM that is free. The dual camera mode is a total joke. I have nothing to say about it. My final quip is with the speakers, the volume after the Oreo update is TOO LOW. The speaker is literally silent at 20% which is really strange because they were pretty loud when the phone ran on Nogat. All in all, if you still haven't updated to Oreo, do yourself a favor and just dont. The worst part is my phone is just 5 months old (Date of purchase) and my old asus zenphone performs better in all the aforementioned categories even today. 

P.s - is there a way I can legally go back to nogat? I can switch the roms myself but that wiudw void the warranty, so is it possible to ask for a downgrade at a local service center?.

yes ..Its not even been a year and now i had to give my phone on service ...It was caught on loop, intializing with logo...

Dear lenovo people. Your update full of bugs has disturbed my well working phone that I bought 1 year ago investing my savings. A device of 13,000 that I have not used to full potential is not even starting due to your software update. 

 

What is my mistake ? Atleast tell me . 

1. Trusting and buying lenovo (When market was trusting heavily on MI products one year ago) ?

2. Updating my phone with your OTA software update ?

 

Please look at this forum. A large number of complaints about the issues in K8 series after the update are flowing in this forum. Moreover, the complaints are even more in number in local market, service centre people are also asking people not to buy lenovo sets. Is this your after sales service and technical team. Or Is it some market strategy to loot people who inversted so dearly in K8 series ?

Thousands of KILLER NOTE has been killed by lenovo technical team in just one single update. What a shot guys. !

 

 

So, Kindly help all the affected users.

Its a request. This could well be the last one.

The amount of value lenovo gives to its customers is just amazing ...Just look at the number of complaints thats been raised ..Do you value our concern, team ? May i know what is the step you have taken ..? I feel extremely hurt that all the money that i put into getting a branded phone has landed me up in desperate situation...My phone is also caught in boot loop ,i tried factory reseting ..Infact i gave it to your authorized centre and their response stunned me ..My almost one year old one has its motherboard malfunction out of blue and cost of replacing it is 13,650 which is almost **bleep** cost of my phone..They were very casual at reply and so is the forum..I feel extremely dissapointed at your response of your customers loss..HIghly irresponsible ..
