Hello @Agent DAisy
I also have this issue . After 5-6 days of september patch update , on 22 October , my Lenovo K8 Note (64 GB version) went into bootlooping. It restarted again and again . After reading many other answers , I applied safe mode etc but for no use . Then I finally factory reset my phone .
Now after factory reset ,boot looping is resolved but any time suddenly screen hangs. Then I have to long press power button , then it restarts once or twice and come back to normal state . This usually happens 3-4 times in a day . Now my phone has 48 GB free space. Also I have updated my profile with Serial no of device and put lenovo privacy on in settings .
Also device is Lenovo K8 Note and Internet carrier is Jio 4G and second sim Idea 3G.
Please help .

Thanks for the info, but doing a factory reset will clear my Phone data... is it?
I'm facing the same problem, from the last night My Lenovo K8 Note keeps restarting its own in every 1-2 seconds from the Lenovo LOGO screen.

My K8 not smartphone is automatically reatart several times in a day. If I use frequently then it's fine but if screen goes off then after few minutes or seconds it gets restart automatically. Please suggest.

Sorry guys, but factory reset is not a solution...
Infact in this weird situation, you couldn't even start your phone in safe mode or factory reset it.
Only option remains is to take it to the service center, they'll take 1 day to debug the issue and the next day they will call you n say that need to change the motherboard.
If phone is in warranty period, you are lucky...otherwise 10k-13k you HV to pay ...
